Key Ingredients
The ingredients we use in our hair and body care products are 100% all-natural … always.
Filtered water
Water filters remove more dangerous contaminants than any other water purification method. Because they are designed to work with municipally treated water, water filters are also an eco-friendly option to bottled water.
Coconut oil
Coconut oil has been used for centuries both as a vital source of food and as a way to keep skin supple and moist in tropical climates. Coconut oil is nature’s own skin and hair emollient, effective and safe for all ages and all types of skin and hair.
Jojoba oil
Made from the seeds of a desert shrub called simmondsia chinensis, jojoba oil is actually a liquid wax. The people of the Sonoran Desert in Arizona, California and Mexico have used jojoba oil for hundreds of years to create skin ointments and hair conditioners because it penetrates into the skin or hair quickly and provides lasting moisture and softness.
Rice bran oil
Rice bran oil is extracted from the germ and inner husk of rice. It is rich in vitamin E, antioxidants and nutrients.
Sunflower oil
Produced from sunflower seeds, sunflower oil is packed with vitamins A and E as well as essential fatty acids – the good kind of fats we all need in our diets, and also good for all kinds of skin and hair.
Rosehip oil
Rosehip oil – made from the fruit of rose plants – is loaded with vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin C. The oil is also a source of essential fatty acids, which are known for improving the elasticity and resilience of the skin and hair.
Apricot oil
Apricot oil is known for its ability to penetrate, moisturize and revitalize both skin and hair without leaving an oily feel.
Camellia oil
Also known as tea oil, camellia oil contains antioxidants to help revitalize the skin. We use it in our foaming body wash because its feels great and absorbs quickly.
Colza oil
We use colza oil in our conditioner because it is a natural conditioner that also reduces static and tangles. Excellent for re-building damaged hair.
Shea butter
Shea butter, extracted from an African tree, is ideal for use on dry or fragile skin and hair and is suitable for those with skin sensitivities such as dermatitis or psoriasis. It is anti-inflammatory and leaves the skin and hair supple and soft.
Aloe vera gel
Aloe vera gel is a powerful moisturiser that can boost collagen (a protein found in body tissues) and help skin repair itself and hair gleam with health.
Wheat protein
Wheat protein is a natural moisturizer containing amino acids. Amino acids are used in every cell of the body and are used to build the proteins in our muscles and cells that we all need to survive. Used on the hair, amino acids boost both shine and texture.
Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E
Used in our conditioner, vitamins B5 and E have both been shown to have a valuable therapeutic effect, leaving hair silky and smooth. Vitmain E also acts as a natural sunscreen.
Botanical extracts
We use a number of botanical extracts in our shampoo, conditioner and foaming body wash, including:
Lavender for its calming and soothing properties.
Marigold because it stimulates healing and cellular rejuvenation.
Rose petal to gently clean and purify skin.
Chamomile to promote skin regeneration and condition hair.
Rosemary for its ability to clean and soothe and rejuvenate, all at the same time.
Horsetail because it encourages good circulation to the scalp and can stimulate hair growth.
Coltsfoot for its high amino acid content – helpful in maintaining healthy, strong hair.
