It's funny how we take most things in life for granted. Finances, our health, the environment - all matters which we don't overly-concern ourselves with until new information or changing circumstances create an immediate and passionate interest towards correction and repair.

I was fortunate enough to catch a program on T.V. which discussed in detail how commonly used cleaners, soaps and shampoos might soon be required to have warning labels on the packaging as result of the presence of possible or known cancer-causing agents and preservatives in the products themselves. My shampoo had preservatives which could cause cancer! Even more distubing was that in other parts of the world, (the U.K. was the example given by the T.V. show), warning labels on shampoos were a requirement.

I approached the owner of my favourite health food store and asked if they carried any shampoo that didn't have those preservatives in them. No luck, they all had the same preservatives as mentioned on the television show.

I was introduced to a company called "Lloyd's Saltspring Island Organics" which carried a comprehensive line of body and hair care products completely free of harmful preservatives and was environmentally friendly. Trying the body wash, shampoo and conditioner was a delightful surprise. The shampoo in particular left my hair feeling better than ANY other shampoo I had tried! Ounce for ounce as cost effective as other hair and skin care lines I've tried... but most importantly the products are completely safe for me, my family and the environment. To compare these ALL NATURAL products with the other products available on the market would be missing the point entirely - there aren't any that compare!
